“Councilman Young moved to approve the rezoning request for the project known as 99999 Lakeside Drive from Residential Single-Family Medium Density District (RS-4) to Residential Multi-Family Medium Density District (RM-8) in order to support infill residential development and find that the request is consistent with the city’s comprehensive plan, is reasonable, and is in the public interest in that: 1) it allows for flexibility for infill residential development; 2) the proposed pattern of development is consistent with the current neighborhood character; and 3) the proposal provides environmental benefits by encouraging grading and 9-24-19 Page 23 development to take place further from the stream.”
